In 1983 the first experimental tournament of 1Cushion was organized, and in 1984, after the establishment of the Greek Federation, the first official championships started…
Below you will see the extremely fast improvement of general averages, within five years….
Please note that there was never a trainer in the talented Greek billiard world, in any kind of game or discipline…
Luckily, the Belgian Emil Waflard, one of the world’s best player ever, visited us on 1985 for a weekend, and gave fast-paced lessons to 24 carom fanatics!
Such a pity, this magnificent evolution has been stopped since player’s interest turn to 3Cushions Only after 1989…
